    High Precision Rod End Plain Spherical Bearing Superior sealing performance

    Description:

    Rod ends are primarily intended for radial loads acting in the direction of the shank axis. If, in
    addition to the radial load, an axial load resulting from angular misalignment or additional axial forces acts on the rod end, the equivalent dynamic bearing load should be calculated in the same way as for radial spherical plain bearings.
    The second step is to check that the calculated dynamic load P does not exceed the maximum permissible load Pperm for the rod end. The maximum permissible load depends on the basic static load rating C0 as well as on the type of load (constant, varying in magnitude, or alternating). This applies not only to loads acting on the rod end in the direction of the shank axis, but also to loads acting at right angles to the axis. If loads act at right angles to the shank axis, the maximum permissible load will be reduced as additional bending stresses occur in the shank. When checking, consideration should also be paid to the rod end head (housing) material which differs depending on design and size (automatic or forged steel, cast iron with spheroidal graphite).
